Privacy Policy#
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This policy explains how Rolling Stock Labs handles information associated with visits to www.rollingstock.net and docs.rollingstock.net (the Sites). It covers the public Sites, not a customer platform or paid service. We will publish additional information before offering features that collect account, billing, or customer workload data through the Sites.
Information we receive#
When you visit a Site, our hosting and content delivery providers may process ordinary request data, such as your IP address, browser or device information, the page requested, the referring page, and the time of the request. This information is used to deliver pages, maintain reliability, and protect the Sites from abuse.
If you email us or otherwise contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organization, and message. Please do not send sensitive personal information through a general inquiry.
The Sites currently do not offer public customer accounts, payment checkout, or a place to upload customer workloads.
How we use and share information#
We use the information described above to operate and secure the Sites, respond to inquiries, and understand or improve what we publish. We may share it with providers that help us host or deliver the Sites, or when necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer. We do not use Site visitor information for targeted advertising or sell it to data brokers.
The Sites are delivered through a content delivery network. They also load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser may connect to Google when displaying a page. Links to sites such as Mastodon or product vendors take you to services with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for those services' practices.
Browser storage#
Site features such as search or display preferences may store settings in your browser. You can clear this data using your browser controls. We do not currently place advertising or cross-site tracking pixels on the Sites. If we add analytics or other tracking later, we will update this policy to describe it.
Retention and security#
We keep inquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and maintain related business records. Hosting providers may retain request logs under their own retention schedules. We use reasonable measures to protect information we control, but no website or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices and questions#
You can choose not to contact us, control browser storage through your browser, and follow links to third-party sites only if you are comfortable with their policies. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To make a request or ask a privacy question, email legal@rollingstock.net. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
The Sites are intended for a general business audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through the Sites.
We may update this policy as our Sites or practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. For terms governing use of the Sites, see our Website Terms of Service.
